The International Institute for Local Development (IILD) invites you to participate in a highly professional and specialized course focusing on Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation.
The session will take place next February in Cape Town, South Africa, and will feature recognized international trainers. Whether you work in the private sector, an NGO, a government department, the UN or other development organization, this course presents a unique opportunity to augment your knowledge and network, and drive your career forward.
This five-day course is intended to provide an overview of results-based monitoring and evaluation methods with practical applications of tools and methods. It will provide participants with M&E tools, techniques and resources needed for planning, organizing, and managing programs and projects. Through exercises and group work, participants will learn the links between results-based measurement, monitoring and program evaluation. Topics include theories of change, indicators of outputs and outcomes, designs for evaluation, data collection, including sampling, and data analysis.
The workshop includes group projects that enable participants translate theory into practice and apply what they learn to their particular needs as soon as they return to their work environments.
